I'm so glad you found me here! I'm April and this is my family. I am the one and only here at April Henry Photography. I love connecting with high school seniors. I'm chill, laid back, fun and I can't wait to meet you!

I am a mother to Kendall and Kadin and a wife to a hardworking man who has allowed me to follow my dreams and start a business of my own. I was born and raised in Spring Grove, Pennsylvania.

 

I have been obsessed with photography my entire life, but when my daughter was born, I wanted to capture every single amazing moment of her life. I didn't want to miss a thing and now that passion has flourished into my business.

Growing up you could find photos hanging all over the walls of my room. My college dorm room was filled with walls of photos of my friends and family. I loved waking up and seeing the smiling, beautiful faces of the ones I cared about most.

If I'm not working, you can find me at sporting events with my little ones, therapy for my little girl, or hanging with my family.  We are always on the go! 

Growing up my other passion was volleyball. My parents played volleyball and my sister and I always tagged along to tournaments. My parents put in a sand volleyball court in our backyard and that quickly became my favorite place to be. I attended college and played collegiate volleyball where I later was inducted into the hall of fame, which was an absolutely incredible experience. I don't play much volleyball anymore because of our busy schedules, but I love being able to watch my kids follow in my footsteps.

As you can see from the website, I specialize in high school senior portraits, and I absolutely LOVE it.
